China (Liaoning) International Education Exhibition(CLIEE), as the unique recruitment tour specially tailed for overseas universities and colleges, sino-foreign joint venture progrms, is officially hosted by the Education Department of Liaoning Province. Since the year of 2000, CLIEE has been successfully held for ten years. In 2010, its 11th edition will be scheduled on 17-25 July, the most active season, when Chinese students are actively seeking opportunities to study abroad.

China (Liaoning) International Education Exhibition will make a recruitment tour again to Dalian, Anshan and Shenyang, the three major cities of Liaoning province. It will provide a good platform for international recruiters to meet students face-to-face from these three and neighbouring cities of the province. The event also provides brilliant network opportunities for international recruiters to meet local agents and education institutions from China.

In 2009, nearly 8,000 local visitors were drawn to the previous exhibitions from the hosting cities and neighboring regions of the province. Most younger Chinese students were accompanied by their parents or families. According to the statistics made at site, we can find that

• 46% still studying at schools, 41% worked more than 1 year,
• 34% were senior-high school studens or fresh graduates and 35% undergraduates or university students,
• 37% to upgrade their education background only, 25% to seek career opportunities abroad, and 20% to start a business when back in China after finishing their studies,
• All levels of education were preferred by Chinese students. 31% for university studies, 32% for master degrees and 8% for doctor's degrees accordingly,
• 30% plus to make decisions on their own and able to directly contact their target schools,
• Game fame of the school, most pursued destination countries, lower tuition fee, promising majors, high-quality education facilities were still the top reason for their final choice.

About Liaoning Province:

Liaoning province is located in the South of the Northern China with a population of 42,710,000 people. Liaoning Province's proximity to the sea has given its commercial and strategic advantages throughout its history. In 2006, the gross number of Chinese students from Liaoning province studying abroad reached 15,000, 10% of China's total number. This put Liaoning province to the 4th place just after Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong provinces.
